A workshop looking at how different relationships in our lives impact us (both positively and negatively) It will explore 'red flags,' healthy & unhealthy boundaries & relational responsibilities. It will assist you in identifying personal strategies to promote healthy boundaries in old and new relationships. It will help to identify and create ways to find & maintain positive relationships. All aspects of the workshop aim to help individuals grow confidence and self-worth. Facilitated by Claire Kendrick (LJMU student counsellor) and Adam O'Neill (Student Wellbeing Advisor) Online via a Teams link sent to your LJMU email account. *Note you do not need to put your camera on for the presentation and you can use the chat function to write messages if you do not feel comfortable to chat. We will be requesting that you mute your speakers unless you want to ask a question. An accompanying exercise booklet will be sent to you online prior to the session, but hard copies can be available from the Student Wellbeing reception desk in SLB on request. Please contact counselling@ljmu.ac.uk *Note this workshop will be available in person in the Student Life Building in addition to online via Teams. The video stream will be of the presentation and facilitators not directed at the attendees. Maximum attendance 24 (12 in person, 12 online)

An Introduction to Mindfulness is intended to be accessible to anyone who would like to know more about Mindfulness. This includes how Mindfulness can benefit our daily lives . Mindfulness has been shown to support wellbeing and reduce stress. The workshop is primarily experiential , with the opportunity to explore Mindfulness practices in an informal , and supportive environment . There will also be the opportunity to learn more about the underlying principles which inform the popular book ‘Mindfulness: a Practical Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World’ by Mark Williams & Danny Penman. The session is facilitated by Brodie MacPhee – LJMU Counsellor. A £5 book token will be given for attendance at this group (Students Only)
