Empowering movement meets mindful support. Please remember to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing for physical activities and bring a sports bottle to stay hydrated throughout the session. 1 hours Boxersize session. The rationale for this exercise is to release any tension, distress, anger, and frustration from the workshop. Physical release exercise helps release pent-up energy and tension stored in the body, which is often a result of trauma. Physical activity can help regulate the autonomic nervous system, reducing symptoms of chronic stress and trauma. This includes balancing the fight-flight-freeze response. Regular exercise can build emotional resilience, helping individuals better manage stress and trauma-related symptoms. (Brom et al, 2017) Sports facilitator: Emma Grogan. 30-minute check out: introduction to sports building, nutritionist, classes etc. Any questions or feedback related to course content.
